    Pelvic Health Physiotherapist

    Flexible part time work available in busy clinic

    Self Employed (Split Share Basis)

    2-3 weekdays/half days

    Saturday and/or evening shifts available.

    Candidate needs have/ be:

    • HCPC Registered

    • POGP member

    • Have evidence of relevant postgraduate training and experience in pelvic health clinical setting.

    • Have a level of English language competency and communication skills, necessary to perform the role safely and effectively

    • Be highly motivated

    • Evidence of personal and clinical development

    • Good reporting skills - treatment notes, exercise programs and professional letters

    • Team player

    • Experience in men's health desirable

    • Trauma informed practice desirable

    • Manage an independent caseload of pelvic health clients in a private clinic dedicated to pelvic health, with a large percentage of pregnancy and postnatal clients.

    • Ability to work within the policies and procedures within the Pelvic Academy.

    • Maintain patient documentation records and statistical information to reflect the care provided and meet professional, clinic and legal standards.

    • Actively participate in relevant peer and staff group meetings and contribute to providing information to blog for marketing the clinic to patients.

    • Candidate must be competent to undertake a specialised physiotherapy urogynaecological and musculo-skeletal assessment of patients including those with complex presentations (such as continence problems, pelvic floor dysfunctions, pelvic organ prolapse, post-operative gynaecological and urological conditions, and obstetric patients) and from this assessment formulate a treatment plan and carry out this treatment as an autonomous practitioner.

    • Portable real time ultrasound available and pessary fitting service with training/mentoring available.

      Further Professional:

    • Maintain legally required registration under Health and Care Professions Council requirements

    • Maintain CSP and POGP standards of good practice

    • Adhere to CSP rules of professional conduct
